PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Promotes TXCPA’s brand and drive revenue growth for products and services through the creation and implementation of digital marketing communications and management of TXCPA’s digital platforms and presence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist with development and coordinate implementation for a digital marketing strategy for TXCPA and related entities.
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Provide creative and content support with graphics, ads, email layout, and website design.
- Create and manage a digital marketing calendar.
- Update website content for TXCPA and hosted chapter websites.
- Proactively work with TXCPA entities and staff to ensure adequate and timely coverage of events and programs in all digital communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create website content and optimize the user experience.
- Create social media content and maintain TXCPA’s social media presence with a focus on delivering relevant updates and growing the number of followers and impressions.
- Manage and promote the online member community as a resource for members.
- Monitor activity and ensure consistent and relevant content is shared.
- Identify growth opportunities for additional communities and member engagement opportunities.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
- Identify trends and insights and recommend strategies that optimize TXCPA’s spend and performance based on the insights.
- Brainstorm new and creative revenue and membership growth strategies through digital marketing.
- Write marketing copy for e-communications and publications as needed.
- Provide graphic design support for projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing.
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email automation, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of web publishing, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Highly developed attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- Knowledge of the accounting profession, business community.
- Proficiency with software packages currently in use by TXCPA.
